The typical male forehead has prominent brow ridges, frontal bossing, with a relatively flat upper forehead. The aim of Brow Contouring Surgery is to reduce the frontal, brow bossing and shape the forehead to give a more feminine smooth, gently curved forehead with the eyebrows above the supra-orbital ridges or bony rim of the socket. Hydroxyapatite / bone cement may be used to provide a smooth appearance of the forehead. Brow Contouring is frequently combined with Hairline lowering and Brow lift surgery.

What happens if there is a complication?
All surgical procedures have an inherent risk of complications despite the highest standard of care. The majority of complications, however, are either uncommon ( < 5 % ) or rare ( < 1 % ). It is essential that before you agree to undergo any surgery or treatment that you ask about and fully understand the risks and side-effects of the procedure. Reputable surgeons will always emphasise the risks and side effects and never provide guarantees.
If a complication develops after your surgery,, Mr Inglefield would carry out any further surgery to ameliorate this, at no additional surgical fee to you, the patient. (Hospital and Anaesthetist Fees may apply).
If you are unsatisfied with the results of your surgery after a suitable amount of time has been allowed for healing and maturation of the surgery within the first year, no additional fees will be required.
However, Mr Inglefield is unlikely to waive his fee if any of the following pertain
- The patient ignored the post-operative instructions.
- The patient failed to attend for the agreed postoperative examinations.
- The patient sustained physical injury out of our control.

I had a Rhinoplasty, brow bone contouring, and chin reduction surgery procedures. Upon meeting both Dr Inglefield and his team of Nurses, I instantly felt at home, they are all so lovely and kind, with positive attitudes all around. Dr Inglefield has really made my face look so natural and feminine, and since the surgery my confidence as a person has really boosted. The procedures were cleanly carried out with no visible scars and barely any pain at all.
The hospital (Hatfield) was fresh and clean with great service, making my stay as comfortable as it could have been.
Overall the service I have received so far has been of an extremely high quality, and I’m loving the results I can see so far.
